OOTD - A not so summery day!

You can never trust the English weather, eh?

Here is a quick post of an OOTD I wore a few weeks ago. Although the weather has gotten a lot better recently, you just don't know when it's going to start pouring again and when you'll have to bring back out your comfy cardigans.

Review: Maybelline New Matte Maker Mattifying Powder

Maybelline New Matte Maker

I recently purchased this new mattifying powder off of Asos in the shade 30 Natural Beige. I received the powder with quite a big chip in it which I wasn't too pleased about but I think that just happened whilst it was being shipped out to me. I'm hoping the chip does not mean it will soon all crumble, but in most cases this does seem to happen.

On to the powder, the powder itself is exceptionally good. It is perfect for the hot summer days when your face tends to get oily around the T-zone. The powder keeps your skin matte the whole day and it also helps your make up to last longer which is perfect because who has time to touch up, right?

This powder retails for £3.99 on the Asos website and can also be found in stores such as Boots and Superdrug.

I would give this product 4 stars our of 5 because I wish the lid was attached to the product instead of having to twist it off. It is not a 'problem' but when doing my make up in a hurry it's nicer to have products that open and close quicker.

Review: Nip + Fab Dark Spot Fix

Nip + Fab Dark Spot Fix

I bought this night cream a few weeks ago from Tesco in the sale for £3.44 and I have seriously been loving it! It was reduced to such a low price as the pump was faulty but I pour it out onto my hand which is completely fine.

I have been using this cream for just over two weeks now and I have already seen a huge difference in my skin. My skin looks a lot more even and d brighter now and I don't look so dead without make up.
The formula of the cream is quite runny but it dries very fast and I don't feel as though y face is wet or oily after applying it which can be found with some creams.

I definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a brighter and more even complexion. Wait, don't we all?
