Primark SS14 New shoe Collection

Primark's New Shoe Collection!

Recently, I have been seeing so many Primark hauls all over YouTube and I have noticed how popular they are. Primark's new Spring collection is definitely not one to miss and all the magazines have been talking about how fabulous the new collection is! The stars of the new collection are definitely the shoes. They have everything from jellies, to sandals, to heels. EVERYTHING is to die for and I have been going crazy and buying as many shoes as I can recently. I want to do this post to share with you what new shoes they have at the moment, as there are just so many to choose from and there is definitely something for everyone. I do not have everything I want yet. There are still around 8-9 pairs that I would like.

Firstly are of course sandals! Primark have some of the best sandals and they are so affordable which is great as sandals never usually last long, especially if you are wearing them on the beach and taking them on holiday with you. The sandals are not just affordable they are super cute too. They are very comfortable and I absolutely love wearing sandals.
From top to bottom: £4, £6 £4, £8

Here we have the famous 'D'orsay' style flats. These have become very popular recently and everyone is in love with them. They are such classic and feminine shoes and I think every woman needs a pair of shoes in this style. These were £6 each and I think that is such an amazing price as they look so much more expensive. The last one is a pair of jelly two part shoes. These are very similar to ones sold by Ted Baker and I think they are so feminine and cute.

Next are these gorgeous brown open toe shoes. They were £8 and I think that is such a good price as I found a very similar pair in Topshop for £38 and in New Look for £18. These shoes are perfect for Spring and they are very versatile. Next are a pair that you will either love or hate. They are jelly shoes and I personally love them. They look so adorable with a bright top and blue jeans and they are also very comfortable. These shoes really do take me back to the 1990s.  The last two are also sandals. The brown are red were £6 and the other were £8. I love brown sandals as I think they go with so many different outfits and it is a colour that I personally love to wear as I think it suits me.

Lastly are these cute colourful sandals that were a very affordable £4 each. they are perfect for wearing to the beach as you do not have to worry about getting them dirty! They are super comfortable and very minimalist but chick shoes.

I have also added a collage of a few shoes that are also in Primark at moment. I think these are all gorgeous and they are all on my wish list along with a few others which I could not find pictures of but will add as soon as I have added them to my shoe collection.

And to finish with..... Some slippers! Because we all love to keep comfortable and Primark definitely have the cutest slippers!

Thank you so much for reading this post I hope this has helped you find some shoes for your next trip to Primark and I hope you enjoyed reading this post.

Leicester Shopping Haul

Shopping Haul!

Hey guys! Today I have a very small haul for you. I don't know if you guys like these kind of posts, so if you do, be sure to let me know so I can do them more often as I shop WAY TOO MUCH! I actually wrote up a very long post two weeks ago of a huge haul but then I didn't upload the pictures and I just deleted it as I thought it would be too late to upload now.. Anyway. just let me know! I might do hauls weekly :)
*DISCLAIMER* I don't know I would need to do this, but I just thought I would put it out there that I am NOT bragging and if this post will offend you in any way, click the X button now!

On Wednesday the 26th of March I went to Leicester for the day with my two friends and we had an amazing time! It is such a small, nice city. First I picked up a few bits from New Look. I didn't find very many clothing items, and as I went to Merry Hill a few days before and did all my Spring shopping, I didn't need much. I purchased these gorgeous pair of sandals which I am totally in love with. They are perfect for Spring/Summer and were a great price too. These sandals were £17.99 which I thought was awesome, but I went into Primark yesterday and found a pair that are so similar so picked those up too! They were £4 so I was a bit disappointed, but I am still in love with these particular ones so it was worth it.

I also picked up a bronzer from the Kelly Brook make up range which is being sold at New Look. They had quite a few make up bits but I wanted to try one out first to see how it is. The bronzer is very nice. It is very shimmery which I think it perfect as I have been loving the shimmery bronze look with orange lips for this season. The bronzer was £2.99. I also picked up a two finger ring which was in the sale for £1 so of course I was very happy about that. It is a very pretty ring and I love statement rings.

The last place I went to was H&M and I am seriously in love with the products purchased from there. Although they are not season appropriate, I wanted them anyway because you can never trust the British weather. I picked up two cardigans. One is a aubergine colour and is a waterfall style one. It is very cosy and I love the colour of it. The second is the star of the show, literally! It is absolutely gorgeous. It is so soft and cosy and I cannot wait to wear it.

I don't want this to be extremely long so I'm going to get straight into it....

1. If you are wearing tights and you're afraid they might ladder or get a hole in them then carry a small clear top coat on you so if you do get a hole it will prevent it from laddering.

2. If you put your tights in the freezer for half an hour before wearing them you will prevent them from laddering.

3. After you apply nail polish (once it has dried) wash the dishes! This will remove any excess polish from around your nails.

4. Apply MAC's Fix Plus to your brushes before using a pigment as it will help you to pick up the colour and it will make the colour more intense.

5. Heat up your eye lash curlers with a blow dryer for a few seconds before using as it will curl your lashes better.

6. Put vaseline around your nails before painting them as it prevents your polish from making a mess.

7. Have a hard time removing glitter polish? Put some polish remover on a cotton ball and then apply it on your nail and wrap some foil around it. Wait for a few minutes and it will come off with one swipe.

8. To get perfecty defined eye shadow, apply some scotch tape to the sides of your eyes in a slant and when you remove it yu will have perfect eye shadow!

9. Want fuller looking lips? Apply some gloss in the middle of your lips to help them appear fuller. You can also use a brown pencil and make a small line under your bottom lip as this creates the illusion of a shadow which makes lips look fuller.

10. Dry lips? Mix together some sugar and honey and exfoliate those lips!

11. Put your concealer in the fridge for 5-10 minutes before using and it will help reduce puffiness.

12. Gel liner run out? Dip the brush into your macara wand and it will work the same.

13. Do you have loose pigments you no longer need? Add them to clear top coats to make your own polish.

14. No one likes lipstick on their teeth so once you have finished applying pip your finger in your mouth and then pull back out.

15.COFFEE FACE MASK? Use 3tbs of used coffee grounds and a small glass of milk. Mix both together until it forms a nice paste and them apply to face and leave of for 20 minutes. Wash face then apply your favourite moisturiser after.

17. use your hair conditioner to remove eye make up.

18. tightline your eyes to make your eye lashes appear fuller and blacker.

19. World most effective spot treatment? Crush up a few un-coated apsirins and apply to face. Wait a few minutes and then rinse off. This works wonders at reducing redness and speeding up the recovery of painful pimples.

Hair Care Tips

How to keep your hair healthy

Healthy hair does not mean long hair or thick hair. You can have naturally fine hair that is very healthy or very thick long hair that is dead. No matter what your hair type, it is very important to keep it in the best condition.

A few years ago I became anaemic and my thick hair started to become very thin. I obviously needed to start taking care of my hair in order to help it to stop falling out and become strong again. When you have an iron deficiency it is very common for your hair to fall out and become weak and brittle because you are lacking important nutrients. I also used to straighten my hair every single day which also damaged my hair and made it weak.

My hair is still not thick, but it is definitely thicker than before and it is also very healthy and I have very few split ends.

Firstly, the most important thing you can do is completely cut out using any heat on your hair. For a long time I used absolutely no heat and I had no split ends at all. Recently I have been curling my hair on some days and have noticed the split ends creeping back. The less heat you use on your hair, the healthier your hair will be. Try to not use heat at all, and if you can't live without your curling iron or straightener, limit yourself to once every fortnight.

Secondly, do not brush your hair when it is wet. This is one of the worst things you can do to your hair. Your hair is a lot weaker when wet and brushing could pull your hair out. Run your fingers through your hair instead or use a wide toothed comb when your hair is mostly dry.

Thirdly, do not wash your hair every single day. This will dry your hair out and will make it become weak and brittle. I wash my hair once every three to four days and I do not suffer from 'greasy hair'. Once you start washing your hair less, you will notice your hair stops become greasy. Just be patient. You could also use a dry shampoo to refresh your hair. The less you wash your hair, the better.

After you have finished showering, pour some cold water over your hair as this will help it to stay shiny.

Oils are a great way to keep your hair nice and healthy. There are plenty of oils on the market that are great for your hair. These include: olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, moroccan argon oil, jasmine oil... Etc. You should try and oil your hair once a week (although I am very lazy and never do!) After you have applied the oil, massage your head for around ten minutes and then shampoo your hair 2-3 times to make sure you don't leave any of the oil in.

Hair masks are a wonderful way of helping your hair become very smooth and manageable. There are many good hair masks that can be found in your local drugstore for a very affordable price. Just choose one that bests suits your hair type.
You can also make your own hair masks. Egg yolk and honey is a great DIY mask for making your hair super smooth and shiny. If you have a itchy scalp, mayonnaise is a great way of helping it.

Vitamins can also be very helpful. You should go to your local drugstore and look for vitamins that help keep hair strong. You can get ones for 'hair, skin and nails' if you don't mind taking tablets, these are a great option for you.

Do not tie your hair up too tight as this will cause your hair to fall out as you are pulling too hard on the scalp. Use a hair bobble without the metal part as the metal pulls on the hair. Scrunchies are great for your hair as it does not pull.

When you go to sleep, put your hair into a loose braid. This helps to keep your hair in one place and stops it from being pulled out.

Thank you for reading. I hope these tips were helpful, and if you have any more, please comment them below.
