MAC RiRi Hearts MAC Holiday Collection 2013 - Pleasure Bomb

The long awaited RiRi Hearts MAC holiday collection 2013 has finally arrived and everyone is going nuts for it! The lipsticks all sold out in under 20 minutes on the US website and on the same day were being sold by the lucky buyers for £50+!
The star of the show for the holiday collection definitely had to be the lipstick in Pleasure bomb. It sold out in just ten minutes and left many fans furious, upset and heart broken! But come on, what did you guys expect?! ;)
I've never been one to rush to buy a limited edition product and didn't even check the MAC site out; so never in a million years did I think I would get my hands on one! I visited Selfridges in Birmingham on the 6th of December 13' completely expecting for them to tell me they were sold out, but no! The lady said she'd have a check in the back... and HOORAH! She handed it over to me to take to the checkout! I was in complete shock as I really did not expect it at all.

Anyway, more about the beauty..

So, the price of the lipstick is £16.50 which is only £1.50 more than the price of a regular MAC lipstick. I think this is an amazing price as the packaging is gorgeous and it is such a sought after collection. I expected the lipsticks to be at least £20. The lipstick is described as matte fuchsia. It has a matte finish; but just by looking at the lipstick it looks very creamy and not matte at all. The colour is a very bright and vibrant fuchsia colour with extremely great pigmentation. it does not drag on my lips at all and feels very creamy and moisturising. The lipstick is VERY long lasting, and will basically stay on until you remove it. I ate, drank and licked my lips with the lipstick on and it stayed put. I think it's the perfect shade for the season (I'll be wearing it all year round!) and would honestly recommend it to everyone! If you're more of a nude girl, I honestly urge you to check it out (if you can get hold of it) and I promise you'll be a changed woman! This is definitely my purchase of the year and I hope I can get my hands on the other shades too.

A few MAC lipsticks that are similar (not exact dupes) to Pleasure Bomb are Lickable, Girl About Town and Impassioned. These all retail for £15 and can be purchased online, at any mac counter or pro store.
